While LIFE provides all of its services free of charge some recreational activities do have a fee associated with them.


Advocacy At IEP Meetings

LIFE provides advocacy assistance during your child’s Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Meetings.

FAN Clubs -- Friends Are Necessary Clubs

LIFE provides parents with support groups to foster friendships for both the family member with a developmental disability and their parents through social and recreational activities. Each FAN Club with LIFE's guidance develops their own annual goals and objectives.

Employment Opportunities

LIFE is committed to assisting persons with disabilities find competitive employment in an integrated community setting by increasing the number of employers willing to hire our targeted population.

Information Dissemination

LIFE acts as a referral and information source regarding issues of interest to the developmental disability community.

Supported Living Subsidies

LIFE will provide rental subsidies to Broward County residents with developmental disabilities who are interested in participating in supported living.
